On The Goose

Responsibilities
On The Goose is a First Person movement based game that we made in our groups in 8 weeks half time. We used Inhouse Engine Friendship Engine and we also used Unity as a editor and Unreal Engine 5 for prototyping.
The Player play as Goose and use parkour to navigate through the levels.

For this project my main responsibility was the level design and the prototyping in unreal engine for the enemy AI.

Alpha Stage of the level
This is an early version of my level. I chose a more linear design to improve player navigation while still offering choices for exploration. To guide players, I gave the planks a distinct color, making them easy to recognize.
Enemy AI Prototyping
We wanted the player to feel like they are chased by the enemies and is always close to get hit by a arrow.
What I did to achieve that feeling was to make a line of trace system. That spawns projectiles randomly.
